Company
Founded in 1999 by Cristina Ledri and Cristiano Fagioli, following their professional training in New York and Paris, RBR Dance Company was established as a production organisation and has since become the creative and production hub behind RBR Illusion Dance Theatre, a company inspired by the great masters and iconic places of contemporary dance.
In 2000, the Company gained national and international recognition with “Bicycle 2000”, created for the World Cycling Championships in Verona. The production earned its founders the prestigious Premio Positano Danza Leonida Massine and led to the Company’s official debut in Rome with “RBR Show”.
Over the years, the Company has created numerous productions presented in Italy and abroad, including Abyss, Open Space (tour in Mexico), Blue Two, Varietas Delectat (Hermitage Theatre, St. Petersburg), Mosaico (Michelangelo Award), Giulietta e Romeo l’amore continua…, Il Circo di Zeus, The Man, and Indaco e gli Illusionisti della Danza.
More recent productions include Boomerang (2021), Illusion is theatre (2021), Canova Svelato (2022), created in collaboration with the Fondazione Canova, and H₂OMIX (2023), currently on tour. In 2025, the production The Man was also revived.
The Company has also taken part in numerous television events and RAI special programmes.
Its significant collaborations with major national and international events, institutions and organisations include the Arena di Verona and the Florence Dance Festival, as well as leading companies and brands such as Volkswagen, Yamaha, Antonio Marras, Lamborghini, Marmomac, and ComoLake – The Great Challenge.
In 2021 and 2022, RBR Illusion Dance Theatre also created the choreography for the birthday celebrations of international superstar Madonna.

Cristina Ledri
Dancer, choreographer, teacher and costume designer, Cristina Ledri trained in Verona, Milan, New York and Paris, specializing in classical, modern and contemporary dance, as well as acrobatics.
In 1999, together with Cristiano Fagioli, she founded RBR Dance Company, a creative and production company dedicated to the development of artistic projects, from which RBR Illusion Dance Theatre was born.
Cristina oversees the choreography, movement research and visual identity of the productions, personally designing the stage costumes. Her artistic journey has contributed to the creation of an original language that combines dance, illusion, theatre and visual arts.
Cristiano Fagioli
Producer, director and choreographer, Cristiano Fagioli began his artistic journey studying sound and singing at CIM in Verona, before continuing his training abroad, first in New York and later in Paris.
In 1999, together with Cristina Ledri, he founded RBR Dance Company and RBR Illusion Dance Theatre, where he oversees the artistic direction and development.
His artistic research has contributed to the creation of an original stage language that combines dance, theatre, illusion, music and visual arts, giving rise to refined, engaging productions with a strong visual impact.
Over the years, RBR productions have been presented on numerous stages across Italy and internationally, receiving critical and public acclaim, as well as numerous awards, commissions and collaborations for prestigious events.
Cristiano, producer, director, choreographer and dancer, starts his career at Cim in Verona studying sound and singing, to then improve abroad, first in New York and then in Paris. From these experiences it arises RBR Dance Company in 1999 which he directs with Cristina Ledri. Thus it was born “very refined Dance Company whose performances are captivating without exceeding in virtuosity”. It has become an important entity and has been recognized by the Ministry of Beni e Attività Curturali . The Company has been invited to several tv programmes. There are many productions that shoot in Italy and abroad, enjoying success with audiences and critics, in fact, numerous awards and commissions for various events will follow.
