Company
Founded in 1999 by Cristiano Fagioli and Cristina Ledri after a period of training in New York and Paris, RBR Dance Company – Illusionists of Dance was established as a tribute to the great masters and the symbolic places of contemporary dance.
In 2000, the Company gained national and international recognition with Bicycle 2000, created for the UCI Road World Championships in Verona. This production earned the founders the Positano Danza Leonida Massine Award, recognition from the Italian Ministry of Culture (MiBACT), and their official debut in Rome with RBR Show.
Over the years, the Company has created numerous productions presented in Italy and abroad, including:
Abyss, Open Space (tour in Mexico), Blue Two, Varietas Delectat (Hermitage Theatre, St. Petersburg), Mosaico (Michelangelo Award), Giulietta e Romeo l’amore continua…, Il Circo di Zeus, The Man, Indaco, and Illusionists of Dance.
Among the most recent productions are: Boomerang (2021); Illusionistheatre (2021); Canova Svelato (2022), in collaboration with the Canova Foundation; H₂OMIX (2023), currently touring. In 2025, the production The Man was also revived.
The Company has also taken part in numerous television events and special programs for RAI.
Notable collaborations with national and international events and organizations include: Arena di Verona, Florence Dance Festival, and major companies and brands such as Volkswagen, Yamaha, Antonio Marras, Lamborghini, Marmomac, and Comolake – The Great Challenge, among others.
In 2021 and 2022, the Company choreographed the birthday celebrations of international star Madonna.

Dancer, choreographer teacher and costume designer, Cristina starts studying classical contemporary ballet at the age of 8 in Verona and Milan, at 15 years old she passes the selections at the Royal Accademy, in 1997 she goes to New York to specialize in classical, modern, contemporary and acrobatic ballet in New York and after she studies in Paris. After these experiences she returns to Italy and teaches classical and contemporary dance. In 1999, together with Cristiano Fagioli, she created RBR illusionisti della Danza where, in addition to choreographing, personally designing the stage costumes.
Cristiano, producer, director, choreographer and dancer, starts his career at Cim in Verona studying sound and singing, to then improve abroad, first in New York and then in Paris. From these experiences it arises RBR illusionisti della Danza in 1999, which he directs with Cristina Ledri. Thus it was born “very refined Dance Company whose performances are captivating without exceeding in virtuosity”. It has become an important entity and has been recognized by the Ministry of Beni e Attività Curturali . The Company has been invited to several tv programmes. There are many productions that shoot in Italy and abroad, enjoying success with audiences and critics, in fact, numerous awards and commissions for various events will follow.
